Chelsea have completed the signing of Florent Malouda from Lyon.
The French international flew into London for talks on Monday and he has agreed personal terms and passed a medical.
Malouda has been seeking a move away from Lyon all summer as he looked to try his luck in a new country.
Liverpool and Real Madrid were believed to be interested in signing the left-sided winger, but Chelsea have won the race for his signature.
Malouda has inked a four-year deal at Stamford Bridge and he will fly out to Los Angeles to link-up with his team-mates on Tuesday.
