Keeper nets Rams move

Derby have snapped up former Preston goalkeeper Ben Hinchliffe.

As revealed by skysports.com last week, Rams boss Billy Davies has moved to link-up again with Hinchliffe after working with him during his time in charge at Preston.

Hinchliffe, who was released by Preston at the end of last season, is highly-rated by Davies.

The 19-year-old has signed a two-year deal at Pride Park after agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.

Hinchliffe will provide cover for Stephen Bywater and Lee Camp for the goalkeeping position
