Arjen Robben would have no problem seeing out the remainder of his Chelsea contract, should a move to Real Madrid fail to materialise.
The Dutch flyer has been long-linked with a move to El Santiago Bernabeu, but despite numerous rumours the 23-year-old remains at Stamford Bridge.
Robben has conceded he has been aware of Real's interest for some time and that given a choice he would like to try his hand with the European giants.
However, the former PSV Eindhoven star, who has two years left on his Chelsea contract, would have no problem seeing out his Blues deal.
"I've known that Real Madrid have wanted me for some time, but at the moment I'm a Chelsea player," Robben is quoted as saying in The Sun.
"We are dealing with two European institutions of the highest level that are always a force in the Champions League and for whom any player would like to sign.
"I don't know if there has been any contact between the two clubs, and, if not, then I will be a Chelsea player for the next two seasons."
